University Medical Center - Outpatient Surgical Department

The Outpatient Surgical Department was established to provide more surgery and procedure capacity at the UMC main hospital campus. Elective same day surgeries were relocated from the Inpatient Surgery department schedule, significantly increasing the capacity for complex surgeries in the hospital and increasing efficiency of both Inpatient and Outpatient surgery departments. The Outpatient Surgery Department contains 5 ORs, 2 procedure rooms, and 21 prep and recovery bays.
