As a member of the Interiors Department, Jordin Bandi enjoys enhancing experiences through the creation of interior environments. Originally from Metairie, Jordin is a graduate of Louisiana State University.

In her free time, she enjoys attending local festivals or visiting the newest sushi restaurant.

Cait Behrens

Design Professional

Cait is passionate about fostering people's engagement with their environment through well thought out design. Originally from Lafayette, she holds a Masters of Architecture from University Of Louisiana at Lafayette.

In her free time, Cait enjoys working on her house or biking in City Park.

Thomas M. Brown

Principal

For Thomas Brown, real joy comes with working alongside clients who enjoy what they do and want to improve the world around them. Driven by a sense of altruism, Brown specializes in education, community, and public safety projects. Originally from Jeanerette, Louisiana, he is a graduate of the Tulane University School of Architecture.

A consummate hard worker, Brown can usually be found exercising or gardening in his downtime. He loves to share a drink, meal, and a laugh with close friends. In life, he’d much prefer to be a participant than a spectator.

Mark Brupbacher

Architect

Mark Brupbacher excels at overseeing the construction of projects and handling every day issues that arise during construction. It gives him great joy to watch his designs come to life.

Originally from Metairie, Marek received his Architecture degree from Louisiana State University. In his free time, you can find him cheering on the Fighting Tigers, playing ball with his grandson, or constructing projects in his workshop.

Clarissa Costa Lima

Architect

As an Architect in STBA's healthcare studio, Clarissa enjoys being able to bring clients' visions to life. She also enjoys the technical side of how buildings actually come together. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Clarissa graduated from Penn State with a Bachelors of Architecture.

In her free time, you can find Clarissa outside playing with her dog, reading a good book, or spending time with her friends.

Karla Daigle

Administrative Professional

Karla Daigle keeps the office running smoothly from day to day. She enjoys working with the talented architects and designers at Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects.

Brian Faucheux

Principal

Born and raised in New Orleans, Brian Faucheux holds a Master of Architecture from Tulane University. he has worked on a diverse array of educational, governmental, community, private, and public projects at STBA. A people person, he is enthusiastic about developing lasting relationships with clients and sparking meaningful collaboration in the studio.

Faucheux has dabbled in modern furniture design and frequently serves on juries for design competitions. In his free time, he can be found playing guitar, enjoying local festivals, and scouting for new restaurants around town.

Anna Bertucci Ghelase

Associate

For Anna Bertucci Ghelase, when it comes to design problems, the more challenging the better. Taking great satisfaction in finding unexpected solutions to puzzling situations, Anna specializes in designing innovative healthcare environments.

A New Orleans native and a graduate of the Tulane University School of Architecture, Anna likes to spend her spare time on crafty projects—rehabbing and creating furniture or making jewelry.

Madeleine Matchett

Interior Designer

Born and raised in Harahan, Louisiana, Madeleine holds a bachelors in Interior Design from Louisiana State University. She has vast experience with corporate office design as well as with retail and medical offices. She enjoys creating spaces that reflect the personality of her clients and their brand, and constantly educates herself on the newest products. Her favorite types of designs include elements of irony and humor.

In her free time, Madeleine can be found taking care of her house plants, creating art, renovating or building furniture, listening to comedy podcasts, hiking, playing board games, decorating for the holidays, and spending time in City Park.

Randall McCaffrey

Construction Administrator

Specializing in Historic Preservation and Restoration, Randy McCaffrey enjoys solving problems, achieving the best quality of work possible, and learning from new experiences and team members.

Originally from Mississippi, Randy is a graduate of Mississippi State University. In his personal time, he can be found on his porch swing with a glass of Merlot and a guitar.

Heather McLellan

Controller

Heather McLellan has a background in tax and accounting work, with a previous career in video and film production. She enjoys working with creative professionals on their financial and accounting challenges.

Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Heather received her Communications Degree from the University of Wisconsin and then completed the Pre-CPA Program at the University of New Orleans. In her free time, you can find her either at a festival, her favorite local coffee shop, or at a dance class with her little girl. She also has quite the creative side, and usually has a knitting or cross-stitching project in the works.

Crystal Mitchell

Architect

Crystal Mitchell specializes in designing higher education facilities, libraries, and community centers. She is a skilled problem solver and enjoys collaborating with creative minds.

A New Orleans native, Crystal graduated with her Masters from Tulane University School of Architecture. In her free time, you can find her lunching with friends, admiring exhibits at the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA), or hanging out with her dog.

Tan Nguyen

Design Professional

Originally from Vietnam, Tan Nguyen moved to the U.S. with his family while in high school, eventually settling in at LSU where he graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture. Tan is passionate about creating designs that inspire and showcase his creative ambition.

In his free time you can find Tan biking around New Orleans, taking the dog camping, exploring new places, flipping furniture or playing video games.

Allen D. Ohlmeyer

Principal | Director of Healthcare Design

A native of New Orleans, Allen Ohlmeyer earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana State University in 1991. Specializing in healthcare environments, Allenr is passionate about improving the patient experience from the top down. He is proud of the continued success of STBA’s healthcare studio and is continually heartened by his colleagues’ commitment, talent, and attention to detail.

Whenever the opportunity arises, Ohlmeyer heads to the coastal marshes of St. Bernard Parish in pursuit of redfish and speckled trout. A volunteer with the Louisiana Cooperative Marine Fish Tagging Program, Allen has tagged 386 fish to date—fifteen of which have been recaptured. Having married into a Cajun family, he is a lover of seafood and spirited gatherings.

Bill Petersen

Architect

William “Bill” Petersen brings to STBA over 15 years of experience in environmentally, sustainable design projects, throughout the United States and abroad. Originally from Denver, Petersen received his Bachelor of Environmental Design and Architecture degree from the University Of Colorado at Boulder, School Of Architecture. Soon after, Petersen earned his Masters of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech University, Washington – Alexandria Architecture Center.

In his free time, you can find Bill outdoors cycling, hiking, fishing or traveling with family. Married to Amy, a Louisiana-native, he especially enjoys the local food and culture with all its sports, people, and recreation opportunities.

Alex Ratliff

Architect

Alex Ratliff specializes in Interior Renovations, Healthcare, and Higher Education facilities. He is passionate about synthesizing the many disparate and complex parts of a project to create one unified and finished space. Sustainability also plays a large roll in all aspects of his life.

Originally from Chicago, Alex received his BSArch from the University of Illinois at Chicago, then graduated with his Masters from Tulane University. In his free time, you can find Ratliff building something in his woodshop or exploring the city by bike with his wife and kids.

I. William Sizeler

Principal

I. William Sizeler—known as Billy around the office—has been active in the architecture world for more than fifty years. Originally from New Orleans, Sizeler is a graduate of Brandeis University and the University of Pennsylvania. Starting with a staff of five in 1979, Sizeler has since grown Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects into one of Louisiana’s most prominent design firms.

Today, Sizeler is focused on bringing in new and challenging projects in the education, public, commercial, and multi-family residential sectors. Driven by his team’s talent and commitment, he is a firm believer in teamwork and perseverance. He spends his free time walking in Audubon Park, visiting with his children and grandchildren, and dining at the city's many fine restaurants.

Steve Templet

Associate

A Louisiana native, Steve Templet is a graduate of the University of Texas. With more than 25 years of professional experience, he is devoted to the development of healthcare spaces that promote both better care and quality of time spent in the environment. A member of the American College of Healthcare Architects Board of Regents, Templet has led master planning efforts at many healthcare facilities.

Away from work, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, carpentry, hunting, and enjoying the outdoors.

Ken Zito

Specializing in sports and recreational facilities, Ken Zito loves the sense of possibility that comes with meeting with a client for the first time. Whether he’s overseeing a renovation or designing a brand new building, he strives to understand a client’s needs so that he can develop an elegant architectural solution.

Originally from Baton Rouge, Ken is a graduate of Louisiana State University. In his personal time, he can be found on the beach or attending LSU and Saints football games.
