Lakeside Kids' Castle

The design of The Kids' Castle, a new kids’ play area in Lakeside Shopping Center features a modern take on a fairy tale theme with a touch of sophistication. The entry and parent counter portals visually connect The Kids' Castle to the food court area, drawing interest and intrigue from parents and children alike. Once inside The Kids' Castle, the immersive environment features locally designed murals by digital artist Zoe Robison. These murals carry the fairy tale theme throughout the space and transform from animated characters amidst rolling hills to mermaids and water scenes. The aquatic section was designed to entice children to use the handwashing station. The scheme purposefully includes accommodations for mothers, fathers, and children of all ages, enhancing the experience for the entire family.

The kids’ play area is surrounded by support spaces for parents, including counters with phone charging stations and shoe storage cubbies. Behind the play area, private nursing rooms provide ample space for mothers, babies, and young children. Additional amenities include an open changing area and a family restroom.
