Children’s Hospital New Orleans - Emergency Room Metairie

The Children’s Hospital Emergency Department in Metairie extends pediatric emergency care to the Jefferson Parish area. This facility was designed to provide full 24-hour emergency services, as well as imaging and testing services, for patients ages 0-21. The design elements of the interior were chosen to reflect LCMC standards and create a welcoming place for kids. Themed graphics cover the walls, floors, and equipment of the imaging and testing rooms, immersing the patients in a “diving under the sea” or “fun in New Orleans” experience.
