Turchin Baseball Stadium
The design objective for Tulane's Turchin Stadium was to "enhance the fan experience". The design includes 2,600 premium seats, 1,300 bleacher seats, and four private suites for 75 spectators, bringing seating capacity to approximately 4,000 seats. Also included are a press box; club seating area/club suite; dugouts; public restrooms, and concessions and includes the development of a grand stadium entrance plaza for pre- and post-game activities.
Mr. Philip Greer, Chair, Board of Trustees, Tulane UniversityYour firm, in association with others, was responsible for the marvelous design of the new facility which, I believe, is the equal of any college baseball site in the country. Most important, it is a symbol of the recovery of Tulane to a level of excellence, nationwide.
