St. Charles Parish Courthouse

This project was a renovation of a former third floor jail into an administration suite for the Parish government. The challenge was to transform a former windowless third floor jail into a bright, welcoming work environment. Space planning required meeting current needs while allowing space for future department growth. Natural light was provided in as many of the office spaces as possible. There was a focus on integrating ceiling and lighting design into the space. A sophisticated color palette was provided that incorporated the parish logo colors and spoke to the traditional finishes in the rest of the building with contemporary detailing.
